Agility—Obedience-Conformation

My dogs train and compete in agility, obedience, tracking, and breed shows.  As you can imagine, this keeps us busy virtually every weekend.   I do love to show in breed shows, but I do not have the time to campaign my dogs extensively and I almost always handle my dogs myself.  Despite extremely limited showing, my dogs have had some impressive wins!

Cherry, (Corsaire Madcap Cherrybomb, AX, AXJ, CGC, NJC, NAC)  picutred here under breeder-judge Winke Mackay-Smith.  Cherry was winners bitch twice at Devon in 1999 and 2002, and  reserve winners bitch at Montgomery in 1999.  Cherry was stricken with lymphoma at 16 months and I made the decision to concentrate on her agility career instead of her breed championship.  She was always a show-girl and a pleasure to guide around the ring.  She had 8 points and one major when she passed away at age four and a half.  All but one of  her points were under breeder-judges. Cherry was bred by Victoria Corse

Here's Ruby under breeder-judge Bill Poole.  Ruby was selected as a  Silverwood finalist  by both  judges in 2002.  That same year she was Winners Bitch at the Bull Terrier Club of America's  National Specialty.  Ruby earned all of her points under specialty judges.  Ruby was bred by Victoria Corse .

5/27/06  Monmouth County KC, Garden State Bull Terrier Club supported entry —Ruby goes BOV under breeder-judge Don Russ.  This was her conformation swan song and she is now spayed and enjoying agility and obedience.  Ruby was ranked 23rd nationally for APDT Level II Rally Obedience in 2006.

It is interesting to note that Bull Terriers are  almost always owner-handled.  I had the pleasure of  finishing  Ruby myself with the exception of her last major, which her breeder,  Victoria Corse, put on her.
